A new electric fence on three walls of a home in Brackenhurst: 10 strands on angled brackets along the front, 6 strands along the side and back, with the certificate issued.
Where: Brackenhurst · Site: Home · Done: Jul 2025
The front wall needed more cover than the side and back walls
The front wall needed a taller, angled fence with the gaps closed. The side and back walls needed a solid, compliant fence too.
We used the right brackets for each wall and certified the whole fence
- Front wall: fitted 10 strands on angled square-tube brackets, adding strands to close the gap.
- Side and back walls: fitted 6 strands on square-tube brackets with coach screws (upgraded from flat bar).
- Earthed the fence every 30 m.
- Ran HT cable under the gate and fitted a heavy-duty gate contact.
- Installed a Wizard 4 energiser with a dual lightning diverter, an earth grid of three spikes, and a siren and strobe.
- Tested the fence and issued the electric fence certificate.
