Industrial electric fencing, CCTV and maintenance on the East Rand
We build, certify and look after the perimeters of factories, yards and warehouses on the East Rand, put up cameras that cover the whole site, and visit every month on a maintenance contract to check each zone.
Since 1995 · Monthly maintenance contracts on East Rand industrial sites · Repairs usually the next working day

Industrial fences take a beating, and nobody checks them until they fail
- “Trucks, growth and razor wire keep shorting the fence.”
- “The fence was altered, so we need a new certificate.”
- “The workshop is too far from the office to cable the cameras.”
- “We need to know who comes and goes through which door.”
We install it properly, certify it, then check it every month
- New industrial fences: electric fences on palisade, walls and freestanding lines, split into zones, earthed and signed to SANS 10222-3, with the electric fence certificate. See commercial and industrial electric fencing.
- Monthly maintenance contracts: each visit measures every zone, fixes broken strands, clears what’s touching the fence and reports growth that needs cutting back. See maintenance plans.
- CCTV across the whole site: recorders in a server cabinet, fibre or wireless links to far buildings, and solar backup where it helps. See CCTV.
- Doors and offices: mag locks with readers and tags, biometric time-and-attendance readers, and alarms. See access control.
We walk the perimeter first, then quote it line by line
- WhatsApp or call us with the site and what you need.
- We visit, walk the perimeter or the buildings, and note every zone, gate and camera point.
- We send an itemised written quote.
- We install and test, and for electric fences we issue the certificate.
- On a maintenance contract, we’re back every month and leave a written record of each zone.
Any call-out fee is told up front, and we never go over the quote without your OK
- New installs: quoted after a site visit, with the scope itemised.
- Repairs: usually the next working day. We work Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.
- Maintenance contracts: a monthly visit with a written record per zone.

Alrode, Germiston, Jet Park and Bedfordview are where most of our East Rand work is
Every place below has jobs on our books since 2023:
- Alrode: steel yards and factories: certified electric fences on monthly maintenance contracts.
- Germiston, Elandshaven and Primrose: warehouses with site-wide CCTV, and homes with new fences and certificates.
- Jet Park: business premises with CCTV over fibre, access control, alarms and gate motors.
- Bedfordview and Edenvale: a villa complex on a maintenance contract, homes with fences, alarms and cameras, and energisers and gate motors replaced after lightning.
- Springs and Heidelberg: energisers replaced after lightning, alarms, and a storage site on a maintenance contract.
Closer to our base, see the Midvaal and Joburg South.
What we install most on the East Rand
Each links to its service page:
- Industrial electric fences, with the certificate when you need one
- CCTV for yards, workshops and warehouses
- Access control: mag locks, readers, tags and biometric readers
- Alarm systems, including Ajax wireless alarms
- Gate motors with anti-tamper brackets
We also run monthly maintenance plans and do electric fence repairs, including after lightning. For walls and smaller premises, see electric fence installation.
Vehicles, growth, razor wire and lightning are what take industrial fences down
- Vehicles: a truck or car into the fence line means a damaged section to replace and a zone to retest.
- Growth and razor wire: trees growing into the strands, or razor wire caught on the earth wire, short a zone. Monthly visits find them and report them.
- Lightning: long lines pick up surges. Lightning diverters and proper earthing limit the damage; we replace energisers that take a direct hit.
- Certificates: an altered or extended fence needs a new certificate. An industrial fence often needs more earthing, signs every 10 m and extra tension points before it passes, as the Alrode steel yard did. See what the COC inspection checks.
Questions
Questions people ask us
Do you do electric fence maintenance contracts for factories and yards?
Yes. We visit every month, measure each zone, fix what’s broken and leave a written record. See maintenance plans.

Yes. Most of our East Rand work is on industrial sites in Alrode, Germiston and Jet Park, and on homes and complexes in Bedfordview and Edenvale.
Can you certify an industrial electric fence?
Yes. We inspect it against SANS 10222-3, fix what’s needed (often earthing, signs and tension points) and issue the certificate.
Can you put cameras across a big site?
Yes. We link far buildings by fibre or wireless, put the recorders in a server cabinet, and add solar backup where it helps. See CCTV.
