An 8-strand electric fence on the walls of an office park in Brackenhurst, with the energiser locked in an outdoor enclosure that has a window, so its status can be seen without opening it.
Where: Brackenhurst · Site: Office park · Done: Feb 2025
The office park needed a fence on the walls and an energiser that people can't fiddle with
In a shared business property, the energiser has to be protected but still easy to check.
We fenced the walls and housed the energiser in a windowed enclosure
- Fitted 8-strand square-tube brackets and strung the fence, earthed every 30 m.
- Installed a Wizard 4 energiser in an outdoor enclosure with a window.
- Ran a power cable from the enclosure to the distribution board, with its own isolator switch.
- Put in an earth grid of three spikes and a dual lightning diverter with its own earth spike.
- Fitted a heavy-duty gate contact and a siren and strobe.
